During the processionals, crucifers carry the processional and the secondary crosses. Torchbearers carry the candles. The crucifers also provide assistance to the clergy througthout the service. At Grace Church, we utilize four acolytes at the 10 A.M. service and one acolyte at the 8 A.M.service. In addition, acolytes provide assistance to the clergy during special services such as baptisms, weddings and funerals.
