Pastoral Care at Grace
The Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain of Grace Church is made up of a small group of parishioners who are devoted to daily prayer for the special requests we receive. We focus on urgent needs of our fellow parishioners, their families or friends. We pray daily for the petition for 2 weeks, unless the situation remains urgent. All requests are kept in confidence. We receive requests from the church office, clergy, the Care-24 Line and individuals.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Lay Eucharistic Ministers are trained lay members who bring consecrated Holy Eucharist to those parishioners who are unable to participate in the Sunday Eucharist at church, those who are homebound, in nursing homes or in the hospital. This service maintains the parish relationship for those so confined.

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a support ministry that equips lay people through extensive training to provide confidential, one-to-one, Christian care to individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. After training, Stephen Ministers have weekly visitations with their care receiver and twice a month attend supervision meetings with the Stephen Leaders.
